On our first day in Bogota, we drove through the city to go to a tourist spot and saw dozens of uniformed soldiers with machine guns in front of random buildings. It was actually quite a scary sight and I did not feel comfortable taking photos of them. But this guard in front of the palace was very nice and did not mind having his photo taken (probably used to it!).
