Hallstatt is a small town in Austria that sits by a gorgeous lake. I saw a photo not too unlike this one on an Instagram account, and made sure our Europe trip included a stop here.
It's not too easy to get here. From Salzburg you have to take the train, make a transfer, and wait for the hourly boat to take you across the lake. But its beauty was just as I imagined.
