Cadillac Mountain is the highest peak on the Eastern Seaboard, and it's the first place where the sun appears in the country. We thought we were pretty early, but the parking lot was already full, and cars were lined up along the road a mile down. Instead of going back down the mountain, we parked illegally and rushed to find our spot among the crowd.
